About

After completing my Master of Education (M.Ed) in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University, I worked as a counselor in community and school settings all over the Southeast. In 2014, I decided to shift away from the school setting and pursue a career in private practice counseling!

My therapeutic lenses are eclectic: I use a mixture of psychodynamic, narrative, and cognitive-behavioral approaches in addition to experiential techniques and interventions. I aim to offer a personalized approach tailored to each unique client. My therapy is also highly influenced by the Spiritual Root System: I help my clients connect with their hearts and rediscover who they were made to be. My passion is helping adolescent and adult clients know their unique story, recognize and feel their feelings, express their needs, identify desires, discover a deeper sense of self, develop more authentic relationships, and experience healing and personal growth through the counseling process.
